Beasts of Los Angeles

Beasts of Los Angeles is a 20-foot by 1-foot ink and watercolor drawing depicting an alternate-reality universe in which the wildlife inhabiting the city is larger than life. Giant praying mantises become tangled in power lines; huge possums cling to airplanes; coyotes larger than trucks prowls the city’s streets. This work is part of Occidental College’s permanent collection and hangs in the executive conference room of the administration building.
